Though everyone knew it would happen sooner or later, snowboarders can now mark off one of the last 4 US ski resorts who still don't allow snowboarders on their slopes. Not effective immediately (likely to let the old-timers rally for a couple more months), as of March 19, 2008, Taos Ski Valley will allow snowboarders on their slopes. What do I think about this? My first altimeter watch was the Casio ARW-320 back in 1993. This analog-faced watch was all black with bright yellow buttons. The small digital window showed the altitude (up to a whopping 13,200 ft.), barometer (in mb only) and depth (to 98 ft.). Brighton Ski Resort is tucked at the far end of Big Cottonwood Canyon, just over the ridgeline from Alta. Kastle Skis: The Legend Returns for 2008

In the early 90's Kastle Skis were the bomb. They dominated both the World Cup downhill and freestyle circuits with the famous RX-15 series. I had a pair of Kastle RX-15 Action's in high school. They were a bump-lovers dream (back when I thought I wanted to ski moguls more than powder) and were even a sweet purple color.
