I rode a 2011 Blur Lt with 650b wheels. Since I never rode the LT with 26" wheels, I can't give you a review. Yet, I can tell you I loved the way the 650b wheels felt. What a confidence booster! I am torn between the LT2 with the 650b wheels and a 29'er (Transition Bandit 29). I am going to hopefully demo a Bandit 29 soon. One question: the LT will come with a Fox Float 32 140mm fork. Will the bigger wheels have an adverse affect on the geometry? The bb height is high already, add the 650b wheels, and it gets higher. Although I didn't really feel any top heavy-ness after riding the LT for two days, I was just wondering if you had any thoughts on my situation.

The Slayer70 is awesome overall. The main disadvantages are weight-related and versatility. Since you have a standard Mojo, then having the Slayer in the quiver would be sweet.

Well I'm getting an amazing deal on a Slayer 70! what would you say are the main advantages/disadvantages between the two?. Right now I have a Classic Mojo that I love and bought in part because of your recommendation. I'd keep both bikes, it's not a substitute for the Mojo, at least for a while.
Thanks again Jason.

I just got this jacket and love it. For temps below 30 degrees I pair it with an Arcteryx fleece and works great. Pearl Izumi has one of if not the best running gear and is far superior to Nike when it comes to technology. Great gear!

I'd have to go with the HD. It's carbon and you can de-tune it to 140mm, if you ever wanted to.

Hi Jason, you've reviewed both, so if you had to get one do-it-all bike which would it be: RM Slayer or Mojo HD?, those are the ones I'm considering right now. Thank you for the help.

Yeah, the RIP and the SB-95 are both tanky frames, but I'm surprised to hear you say that about the RIP. I loved mine and found it to be an amazing climber. It goes to show you that the rider input has a lot to do with how the bike rides.

I'm anxious to get aboard the SB-95!

Always a tough call when the deals are similar. Honestly, it's been several years since I rode the Altitude and the geometry has likely been refined since that time. And, the feedback you've heard on the 575 may also be from the older design as well.

If it's a 2011 575, then it's got the tapered HT and re-designed rear triangle, right?

If it were up to me, I'd likely go 575, but again, the Altitude may not be as twitchy on the down as it once was. Good luck and thanks!

Hi Jason
Thanks for the recommendations. Right now I have two smoking deals. Its between a 2011 Altitude 70 RSL and a 2011 yeti 575.
Some say the yeti is flexi and has brake jack.
What would you recommend they have similar components slightly used and both $2000.
Thanks for the great service you provide.
