With a think 3.5 inches of dual-density padding, the Black Diamond Impact Crash Pad provides a top-notch landing zone when you peel from the topout on your boulder problem. This simplified version of the Drop Zone includes no pockets or massive flapsjust beefy padding, a clean folding design, and shoulder straps for easy carry. The Impact Crash Pads hinge-free fold eliminates gaps in the padding. Black Diamond gave this pad a large 41 x 48-inch area (open) to make it a great all-around choice for lowballs or highballs.
