Where’s my red helmet? It’s got to be around here somewhere. Maybe it’s clanging around in the back of my Subaru with all my bike gear? Nope. Maybe it’s in the basement? Nope.

I love this video from Warren Miller. Typically, we speak of Kodak Courage for those who step it up for film shoots, but I like Red Helmet Courage much better. Everyone needs something to drive them to push their limits. Maybe it’s upping the tempo on your trail run, or maybe it’s pushing yourself a little harder on the singletrack, or maybe it’s dropping into the deepest untracked powder of your life. Whatever limits you’re pushing… looks like you will need that red helmet.
