AT Anonymous Ski Video

09.27.06 | Author: Jason Mitchell

We understand the pull of the backcountry. We understand the draw of being “one” with your skis and being more “natural” by freeing your heel and your mind. But, we are beyond the days where telemarking was the only option for backcountry skiing. Since the advent of the modern AT binding, the backcountry has been opened to fixed-heel skiing. This anonymous video narrates one man’s search for the perfect telemark turn, which landed him into the growing alpine touring crowd. You’ll laugh yourself silly.

Thanks to www.thepiton.com for the video.
