I guess I’ve been hiding under a rock or something, because I just noticed that Freeskier Magazine is now available for free as a PDF download! Freeskier Magazine has always bucked the trends when it comes to magazine distribution. They’ve done free print distribution in the past, but making the entire magazine available for electronic download is awesome. Looks like they are going to work on PDF’ing their back issues for public consumption as well.
If I had my hands on electronic versions of my magazines, I wouldn’t feel so inclined to keep them around so long. They’d be recycled after the season in favor of searchable electronic versions. Maybe some other publications will start doing the same? Nice work Freeskier!
