    2012 Paris-Roubiax Recap: Ted King’s Perspective

    The notorious cobbles from “The Hell of the North” otherwise known as Paris-Roubiax were the center of the cycling world this past Sunday. While many focused on a silly green jacket, 200 professional cyclists began the 259.5km epic from Compiègne to Roubiax in Northern France. While the entire route is not on cobbles, there are 27 different cobbled sections which push the limits of the riders and equipment.

    Ted King and his Liquigas-Cannondale team chose not to train on the course, but opted to go into it well-trained, but unfamiliar with some of the nuances of the pave. Ted certainly has a way with words and does a great job explaining his perspective of just how challenging and demanding this classic really is.
