With perfect weather for this time of year, I shirked the amassing family for an hour so I could slip out and enjoy some Turkey Day singletrack in Lambert Park. With temperatures in the mid-40’s and sunny skies, it’s about as good as it gets for mountain biking in November.
Living 5 minutes away from Lambert Park in Alpine, Utah is great for quick rides–especially during the Winter. The trails are some of the first to thaw out and even when snow-covered, many of the trails remain rideable. The Polar RS800cx says the stats for the hour ride were 5.53 miles, 619 calories, and 820 ft. of climbing–just enough calories heading into the turkey feast. Bring it on.

I am really jealous. Here in the mid-Atlantic it’s been raining and gray so much this fall the trails cant dry out.
There is nothing better than being able to ride deep into the year. I rode in Lambert Park over the Thanksgiving break too. Call me next time you are headed to Lambert.
