Mace Perimeter Bike Jersey Review

There are plenty of bike jersey options are available for riders of all styles. Tight, loose and everything in between. Mace Gear is Norco’s freeride apparel and accessory brand that’s driven by the likes of Ryan Leech and Jay Hoots. The Perimeter Jersey is fairly simple, but has some twists to it.

Mace Perimeter Jersey Review

Heading out this Spring, I’ve been wearing a couple of pieces from Mace Gear: the Perimeter Jersey and Mirage Glove. I’ve been impressed with the overall quality of these products and know they come from rider-influenced designs. I mean, how could Ryan Leech lead anyone astray, right?

The Perimeter feels soft next-to-skin and features a comfortable cut, but not overly-baggy. I wore the size Medium and found it to be plenty long and comfortable enough on long rides. With or without a hydration pack, it did a great job wicking moisture. Much of that is due to the large triangular mesh back panel. That panel is pretty sweet as the temps increase and sweat needs somewhere to go.

Anti-microbial qualities are good overall. I could wear the jersey on a couple of rides without noticing too much of a stink. Anything beyond that is not recommended. The stretch of the fabric does allow you to wear it on top of armor (if that’s your thing).

Good Perimeter

• Breathable back mesh aired things out well
• Comfortable fit
• Stylish for on/off rides

Bad Perimeter

• A little spendy
• Finding a retailer may be difficult
