    2015 Cannondale F-Si 29er Launch Video

Jason MitchellBy Jason MitchellMay 30, 2014No Comments1 Min Read

Cannondale has been one of the leaders in 29er hardtails for years and that looks to continue for 2015 and beyond. The all-new 2015 Cannondale F-Si aims to deliver playful handling and capable descending all while remaining a true XC race hardtail. The technical nature of today’s World Cup XC race courses demand the best of all worlds and having a more flickable and fun bike will give more capable riders a greater edge.

To achieve this, Cannondale engineers have re-designed the entire platform — including modifying the Lefty’s fork offset and tweaking the rear hub spacing to allow the wheel to tuck in closer to the bottom bracket for an ultra-short 16.88″ chainstay. They also stuck with a quick-release rear axle, stating their changes have made it stiffer and more serviceable than a 142×12 thru-axle.

And, just for kicks, this second video is mostly just for fun, but when you have Peter Sagan being Peter Sagan on a mountain bike, you never know what’s going to happen. He and Marco Fontana had some fun on the all-new F-Si hardtails.
