It’s been a few years since I met Matt Hunter. He came into SLC for our premiere of The Collective. My recollection of the guy was that he was super down-to-earth and extremely nice. It’s great to see him continue to succeed in the freeride scene as well as do more adventurous trail rides, like this one. As you’ll see in the video, he takes a float plane into the Chilcotin Range of British Columbia for a lone wolf expedition of trail riding, fishing and fun.
I’ve been in that area and the beauty is unparalleled. This ride looks phenomenal and is something I’d sure love to do at some point. A multi-day MTB trip in the wilderness would be sublime.

This is phenomenal – essentially the backcountry, solo version of the BC bike race. Awesome.
