2021 Gravel Worlds and Long Voyage Announced

Jason MitchellBy Jason MitchellJanuary 13, 20211 Comment1 Min Read

We all need long rides on endless gravel roads. And, that’s just what we’ll see on August 21, 2021. The Gravel Worlds will again take flight from Lincoln, NE. And with it, an all-new event, dubbed “The Long Voyage 300,” will also take place. Limited to 100 participants, The Long Voyage will set off on a 300 mile route the day prior, August 20.

The initial set of riders for The Long Voyage consists of 18 women and 82 men, who have been selected from around the world to take on this brutal course. With a 30 hour time limit, some will need every minute to make it. It’s a self-supported affair, with stops at local convenience stores along the route.

If 150 or 300 miles are not your thing, there are shorter, non-competitive distances (75 or 31 miles) on offer.  As a huge fan of midwest gravel, these races look like a great opportunity to get out and ride your bike on endless, rolling gravel with some cool people along the way. Registration begins January 16.
