Spotted: Cannondale SuperSix EVO 2 Disc & SRAM RED eTap HydroR

Jason MitchellBy Jason MitchellMay 18, 2016No Comments1 Min Read

Fresh off the peloton, the iconic Ted King just posted a photo of his new Cannondale SuperSix EVO e Disc and it looks stunning. Not are the disc brakes awesome to see, the new color scheme is a good departure from Cannondale’s of old, in my opinion. And, the bike is decked out with SRAM’s RED eTap HydroR to boot. Those ex-pros get all the toys, right?

    SuperSix EVO 2 Disc Highlights:

    • Looks like QR’s instead of thru-axles (hmmm)
    • Another sighting of SRAM’s RED eTap HydroR
    • Room for 160m rotors
    • Just me or does the head tube look taller?
    • New design language for Cannondale — or is this a custom paint job for Ted?

More details are forthcoming, but it sure looks like disc brakes are going to make their way into the Cannondale Pro Cycling team in the near future. Stay tuned for updates and follow Ted for more product leaks and all-around good fun. His previous post was taken down (presumably at the behest of Cannondale), but the leak has been leaked.
