It’s been a few years since Canyon updated their beloved Endurace model. Back in 2020, I had the opportunity to ride the Canyon Endurace CF SL8 Di2 and found it to be a capable, responsive endurance bike that was easy to get along with. It had a great mix of comfort and performance and still holds a few climbing PR’s on some of my most-ridden ascents. Now, for 2024, the all-new Canyon Endurace is stepping up and into the endurance category with a mix of comfort, modern tire clearance, aerodynamic shapes and continues with a healthy dose of performance. Whether you’re looking at the high-zoot CFR layup or the still light CF SLX layup, the all-new 2024 Endurace has all the trappings for an all-around winner for the masses.
Today’s top endurance bikes are no slouches. Take the Gen 4 Trek Domane SLR 9, for example. It blew me away by the perfect combination of comfort and performance. While the new Endurace doesn’t have quite as big of tire clearance, 35mm is nothing to scoff at and should be the standard for all road bikes these days, in my opinion. So, let’s get back to the details of the 2024 Canyon Endurace.

The all-new Canyon Endurace hits the mark with an absolutely spectacular value and parts spec for the money. A full SRAM Force kit with power meter and DT Swiss carbon wheels for $5499 is unmatched. While the CFR does save weight and add zippiness, the CF SLX will be the sweet spot, in my opinion. As Canyon clears out the previous model, it can be difficult to differentiate the two. But, an easy way to spot the new Endurace is if it has fully-internal cable routing. And, the seat tube cutout is more pronounced as well. With the added tire clearance and overall improvements, the new Endurace can comfortably tackle all roads.
