Outdoor Retailer: Princeton Tec Remix Headlamp

Jason MitchellBy Jason MitchellFebruary 1, 2009No Comments1 Min Read

Headlamps are mandatory if you’re one to participate in the Dawn Patrol. With 5:30 am starts, using anything but a headlamp is unthinkable (unless it’s a full moon). Light and bright is the mantra when it comes to headlamps and Princeton Tec definitely understands that mantra. They have been tinkering with LED-powered headlamps and flashlights for a long time and their product is definitely up there with the best in the business.

For Fall 2009, Princeton Tec is introducing a new headlamp called the Remix, which should provide excellent lighting options in the early-morning or late-night cookouts.

Packed into this little beauty are four LED’s: three 5-watt (35 lumens) and one MaxBright Rebel LED (46 Lumens). for ultimate in lighting versatility. Powered by 3 AAA batteries, this guy is glove-friendly and sports a long burntime (up to 150 hr).  It also comes with a variety of LED colors for better night vision. The one-point swivel can easily be adjusted based on need. MSRP on the Remix is $45 and it should be available this Fall.
