175 Years of Orbea: Fire, Air, Water and Earth

Passion for cycling runs deep in the Basque Country of Spain. The narrow roads, steep ascents and endless vistas are the perfect backdrop for innovation. This is where Orbea calls home. This is where it all started 175 years ago as a firearms manufacturer that eventually transitioned to making bicycles for everyday people. That focus on pedestrian bicycles changed when Orbea started focusing on competition.

Switching from steel to aluminum and eventually to carbon fiber, Orbea has led the market in many ways. As a small company, Orbea has notched some serious victories.

For the 175th anniversary, Orbea has created a three-part series: Fire, Air and Water. What a fantastic chronicle of Orbea and the sport of cycling.

Episode 2: Air

Episode 3: Water

Episode 4: Earth
