BMC Spring Classics 2013 Experience: Win a GF01!

Jason MitchellBy Jason MitchellDecember 19, 2012No Comments3 Mins Read

BMC has announced quite an amazing contest, dubbed the “BMC Spring Classics Experience.” Not only will you be entered to win one of two trips to either the 2013 Paris-Roubaix or Tour of Flanders, but you’ll also get a brand new BMC GF01 Ultegra Di2 to take along for the ride — the perfect steed for riding the cobbles of Paris-Roubaix or the Tour of Flanders.

For more information and to enter this contest, see the official release below:

BOSTON, Mass. – BMC Switzerland, maker of premium high-performance bicycles, invites participants to enter for a chance to win a BMC granfondo GF01 Ultegra Di2 complete bike and an all-expense paid trip to Kortrjk, Belgium to see the Tour of Flanders or Paris-Roubaix.

“We want to share our passion for bicycles and racing with the cycling community,” says Karim Pine, General Manager of BMC Switzerland in the USA. “And what better way to do that than an open invitation to join along on this prestigious adventure? Two lucky winners will walk away with trips of a lifetime, and an amazing new ride.”

Alongside former Tour of Flanders winner, Steffen Wesemann, the winners will spend several days as BMC Switzerland’s VIPs learning the cobbles of the most storied roads in all of cycling. With the chance to participate in the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix amateur rides on a brand new BMC granfondo GF01, the winner will also chose a favorite authorized BMC dealer to join along for the complete trip.

The BMC granfondo GF01 was engineered according to professional riders wanting a bike tough enough to handle the brutal cobblestoned roads of northern Europe – terrain that’s as hard on the rider as it is the bike – yet offer a compliant ride quality. Using BMC’s tuned compliance concept (TCC), BMC Switzerland optimised the carbon layup in each part of the chassis to add flex where wanted for comfort, and stiffness where needed for power transfer. The bicycle’s vertical compliance offers high levels of lateral and torsional stiffness while maintaining stable handling and reliability.

The Tour of Flanders is one of the most important Classic road cycling races. It’s held in Belgium every spring one week before Paris-Roubaix, the most famous one-day event in all of cycling. Both races are part of the UCI World Tour where professional male cyclists contribute points towards world ranking.

The Spring Classics Experience is open to one entry per contestant. One winner will be chosen for each of the two trips offered. Winners will be notified Monday, March 4th 2013. Odds of winning determined by total number of applicants. Not valid in NY or FL.
