Brighton for $14 is a No Brainer

0
By Kendall Card on December 18, 2007 Skiing

Brighton Resort in Utah“Ohhh, the weather outside is delightful…” Yea, I wish it were the other way around but it will be soon. It’s the “warm before the storm” right now but temps are forecasted to drop with a 60% chance of snow on tonight and into Wednesday. They are saying up to a foot of new will fall.

Since wallets are getting lighter this time of the year Brighton Resort is offering a deal. On Wednesday, December 19 (that’s tomorrow kids) skiers and snowboarders can purchase a Brighton Day pass for only $14.00 when they bring a full bag of non-perishable to the resort for donation to the Utah Food Bank. Last year Brighton collected over 16,000 pounds of food.

Don’t be bringing some lame canned beats or water chestnuts. Bring the real stuff – chili, tuna fish, soup, etc. Not only will feel good you’re bound to get more freshies by doing so.

So start now by *cough, coughing* near your boss so you can *call in sick* tomorrow and partake of the goodness at Brighton. Don’t let this opportunity to help Utah’s hungry and a $14.00 lift ticket pass you by.
