Kjus Skiwear Video: Norway’s Lofoten Islands

Jason MitchellBy Jason MitchellOctober 31, 2007No Comments2 Mins Read

Kjus Skiwear launched a new promotional video displaying the beauty of skiing the mountains of Norway’s Lofoten Islands. The terrain is steep, rocky and super technical. The snow… well, while it’s not AK quality, the geography of the region lends itself well to some amazing videography. The result? A pretty cool ski video that features many Kjus team riders including them an himself, Lasse Kjus, and Norwegian freeskier, Fredrik Luykis.

The terrain is amazing and the video shows the beauty of the area as well as the technical skiing abilities of the featured riders. Definitely worth the five minutes or so to watch. I dig some of the technical, rocky lines they ski–especially considering that the conditions are not blower pow.

Not familiar with Kjus Skiwear? Check out Cole Sport in Park City, Utah for a wide range of Kjus skiwear for men and women. Hit play and enjoy!

Here’s a little more info on the video and the new KJUS World Magazine that debut’s shortly.

“Along with the film, KJUS has developed KJUS World Magazine that features images from the epic trip. This large format cata-zine in size Din A3, captures the imagination and joie de vivre by kidnapping the reader to the total isolation of the Norwegian mountains. Scheduled to be an annual magazine, KJUS World also presents stories that weave the passion of skiing with the spirit of KJUS, including a story on KJUS’s newest team member Bode Miller and detailed information on this year’s collection and the technology and design concepts behind it. KJUS World Magazine is available at KJUS dealers worldwide.”
