Want to welcome winter to the Wasatch with 8,000 local ski bums? Look no further than the huge Fat Flake Festival held outdoors at the Gallivan Center in downtown Salt Lake City. Looks like a fun time for the whole family with tons of activities and bands to kick down a cool beat for the season. The event will be complete with games, athlete appearances, schwag and a pro rail jam too.
Not too many details about what pro athletes will be in attendance, but if we hear more, we’ll let you know. Show up and join in the giant snow dance to keep Ullr happy so he’ll send us regular epic dumps this winter!

Ski Utah proudly presents their annual Snow Jam 2007, The Fat Flake Festival, the kick-off celebration to officially welcome winter back to the Wasatch. The one-night outdoor concert and festival in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, will attract upwards of 8,000 Utah’s most dedicated skiers and riders and offer fun for all ages.

The event is FREE and will be held at the Gallivan Center Saturday, Nov. 3 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
