For 2008, both Santa Cruz and Intense started introducing the next-generation VPP design. This involved new, more serviceable linkages and revised travel rates. The result has been a vast improvement to one of the most popular suspension designs of our day.
My first love affair with Intense Cycles dates back to Interbike 2001 when I swung a leg over the old Intense Uzzi SLX. Since that time, I’ve spent time on the old Uzzi VPX and the 6.6.
