Over the past few seasons, the ski industry has experienced a renaissance. Fat skis have become fatter, camber has disappeared, tips have become more pronounced and waistlines have become pear-shaped. It’s definitely been interesting as I’ve watched this evolution happen. Surface Skis Live Life
Born with the intent to help you live the life… the 100+ days per year life. My best years were in the 50-60 day range, so with the Live Life, I’d still have plenty of room to grow–and so would you. With a wide 112mm waist and an early-rise tip, the Live Life is built to tackle the pow both in and out-of-bounds. This should be your “go-to ski” with enough sidecut to carry you from the top of the tram all the way down the Road to Provo at Snowbird. Available in two sizes: 179 and 189 cm with an MSRP of $599.
Surface Skis Live Life 2
Take the Live Life, tweak the flex and exaggerate the rocker (called 3-stage rocker) and you’ve got the Live Life 2. With the same profile as the Live Life (140 / 112 / 132), the LL-2 is a powder tool built to charge hard when the snow is piled high and deep, yet still versatile enough to get you back to the base via the corduroy highway. Surface LL-2 is the best ski ever made! Only ski I need for everyday riding, from park to pipe to deep steep pow lines they are the only thing to live life on!

Hey all you crud busters, pow shredders, and all mountain attackers. If you ski all of the above, this ski is the one for you. For a fat ski, it carves like a racing ski, on powder u feel like ur floating on a cloud and on crud it drives through it like a hummer! its playful enof to make u wanna catch big air of jumps just like a kid again! This ski does it all with out compermise. its the best ski i have ever ridin on.
Oh and i almost forgot to mention that my daughters friends said that they do very well going switch down the mountain and on park and pipe.

Glad you dig them. I never did get a chance to ride them this season, but hopefully next year.
I now have a pair of the 2009/2010 Surface Live Life 181’s (essentially last year’s LL2’s) and they are an amazing tool for backcountry skiing… absolutely loving them!
